Description

The Town Of Weldon (pop. 1,386) Is Seeking A Qualified, Dynamic, And Dedicated Individual To Serve As Town Administrator For Our Historic Riverfront Community. This Role Performs Management, Professional, And Administrative Duties As The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) For The Town. The Town Administrator Serves As Budget Officer And Works With The Mayor, Board, And Various Community Stakeholders To Develop Consensus On A Clear Vision Of The Future Of The Community And The Organization And Coordinates And Works With The Mayor And Board On Planning And Policy Development To Put This Vision Into Effect For Town Services.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Proven Experience In Managerial Roles, Preferably In Local Government; Strong Skills In Leadership, Collaborative Engagement, And Public Speaking; Thorough Knowledge Of Public Administration Practices And Principles. Education: Bachelor’s Degree In Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, Or Related Field; Master’s Degree In Public Administration Or Related Field Preferred.

Compensation

Salary: Salary Range Is $70,070-$98,098; Anticipated Hiring Range Is $75,000-$85,000 DOQ.
