Training and Facilitation Services
PDS staff provide training and facilitation services for governing boards, planning boards, boards of adjustment, and others. Custom programs are available for individual member governments and allies through affordable and simple contracts. Training can be tailored to the specific needs of your board, committees, and community. Topics include but are not limited to: strategic planning, board duties and responsibilities, procedures, state planning statute updates and general planning Q&A.
Additionally, PDS periodically provides regional training workshops in cooperation with the NC School of Government, the North Carolina Chapter of the American Planning Association, various granting agencies, and others. Watch our calendar of events for upcoming workshops in the region.
